Young Talent Exhibition 2022

The New Art Foundation of Vancouver (NAFVan) in partnership with Semiahmoo Arts Society is proud to announce the success of the Young Talent Exhibition, an initiative aimed at supporting young artists in Vancouver. The exhibition featured the works of several emerging artists and provided free masterclasses from established artists in the industry.

The exhibition was part of NAFVan's Young Talent Program, which aims to promote and support young artists in Vancouver. Masterclass topics included concept design, colour theory and digital illustration, and 3D modelling and printing. The event featured guest lecturers such as Sean McMurchy, art director of Plants vs. Zombies, Hugo Hernandez, an animator and visual effects artist, and Liwan Bai, a visual director, 3D environment artist, and fine art artist.

The Young Talent Exhibition provided a unique opportunity for young artists to showcase their work, learn from established artists, and connect with like-minded individuals in the industry. The exhibition took place in Summer 2022 at True Colour Gallery in North Van and Turnbull Gallery in Surrey.

NAFVan and Semiahmoo Arts Society look forward to supporting young artists and promoting artistic innovation in Vancouver through this exciting new initiative. For more information about the Young Talent Program and upcoming opportunities, please visit this link.
